Title: Tax and Compliance Accountant

Reports to: Financial Manager 
Location: Egypt 

Job Purpose:
The Tax and Compliance Accountant reports to the Financial Manager. Responsibilities  include making sure that the financial documents on the dedicated network folders, and archive are well organized. The responsibilities of the job also require cooperation with the other departments in Egypt and finance manager. 


Scope of Role:

• Manages and handles the day-to-day operation of the finance department.

• Identifies potential areas of compliance weakness and risk.

• Develops & implements corrective action plans.

• Makes sure that archive is up to date and well organized.

• Ensure that the team adheres to process and controls.

• Review outside services for tax preparation, auditing, banking, investments, and other financial needs, as necessary.

• Participate in Tax audits with local tax advisors.

• Implement action plans from audit recommendations.

• Review financial data and prepare monthly and annual reports.

• Work closely with the financial manager to support where needed.
