Required Knowledge and Experience:
- Degree in Computer Science or IT related field preferred
- Strong Problem Solving and Analytic skills
- Good understanding of Microsoft Windows server operating systems (2008, 2012).
- Good understanding of Microsoft Active Directory and associated technologies.
- Experience of troubleshooting operating systems
- Good understanding of virtual technologies, preferably VMware.
- Good problem-solving skills with ability to logically assess and decompose a problem.
- Good communication skills, ability to listen, understand and present clear solutions to problems at a level appropriate to the customer’s knowledge and experience
- Understanding of task prioritization management.
Desired attributes:
- Previous experience in a data center environment would be beneficial

Job description:
- Responsible for providing technical support and maintenance for all servers and systems in
the designated site and implementing systems security and policies.
- Responsible for supporting all facets of server administration (logins, passwords etc) backups and restores
- Provides general system administration support for the VMware ESX virtual servers including diagnosis,
optimization, documentation, security.
- Provides general system administration support, including diagnosis, optimization, documentation,
security for Physical and Virtual Windows2008/2012 servers
- Provides, maintains and manages all system storage, backups and restoration of system files, file systems, directories
- Monitors storage and backup systems for efficiency and utilization.
- Responsible for supporting all facets of server administration (logins, passwords etc) backups and restores
- Provides end-user support as the backup of the Desktop Administrator
- Provide on-call support on a periodic basis
- Work with external suppliers and contractors.
