We are looking to recruit two new analysts to provide a reporting service within the Regional HR department; one to the Learning & Development team, and the other to the Recruitment team. 

This is an exciting opportunity for advanced users of Excel to develop and enhance their analysis and reporting skills.

This will enable the department to benefit from quality reporting on aspects such as training participation rates and recruitment quality levels.


Main responsibilities will include:

  • Compiling recurring reports, including:
  • Preparation of training or recruitment reports using Excel and PowerBI tools (L&D Analyst only)
  • Ad hoc reports as requested by the line manager
  • Improving reporting through streamlining data collection and using new technologies to create and share reports
  • Data Analysis and problem solving
  • Learning Management or Recruitment System administration
  • To carry out any other administrative tasks within the team as requested by the line manager


To be considered for the role candidates must be able demonstrate that they have the following skills and experience:

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Advanced English skills 
  • Excellent skills of other Microsoft programs
  • Excellent organisational skills, with a clear, logical and structured approach
  • Ability to gather and analyse data and generate reports
  • Keen to try new ways of working to see how technology can simplify or automate tasks
  • At least 6 months experience within Sykes


Candidates with the following skills and experience are preferable:

  • Experience in using Power BI
  • Experience of working with Recruitment, Training or HR or similar systems to produce reports.
