We are recruiting for a temporary HR Business Partner to join our team on a 6-12 month contract. This post is fully work from home and 37.5 hours per week

PURPOSE OF JOB

Support the local HR team in providing a high quality and proactive service to the business, virtually and/or on-site.  Meeting both corporate and statutory requirements, encompassing all aspects of resourcing, employee relations, employee development and reward, and adding value in support of the Company’s business objectives.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES AND END RESULTS

 

·       Provide guidance and support to Operations colleagues on Human Resource best practice ensuring proactive delivery of HR processes and consistent measurement across the sites.

 

·       Act as first point of contact for line managers on all HR related issues, in particular:

 

o   Absence Management

o   Performance Management

o   Capability

o   Discipline and Grievance

o   Non agent Recruitment and Selection

o   Employment Law

o   Employee Relations

o   Human Resource Policies and Procedures

 

·       Attend weekly/monthly operations meetings and provide support on HR related issues, in particular providing advice and agreeing actions in relation to absence management and conduct issues.

 

·       Support the HR Team in providing advice and guidance to the site leadership team on best practice in human resources management, compliance with employment legislation, and internal security and audit procedures

 

·       Work across multi-disciplined Ops teams to lead and influence the delivery of HR policies and procedures, employee satisfaction and employee relations  

 

·       Work closely with site teams, in the development of a performance driven culture, which encourages individual ownership of results and associate development

 

·       Support the business in ensuring that the company remains fully compliant with changes to employment law and practices, and that these practices are implemented consistently

 

 

·       Support the HR Team in implementing appropriate actions to raise associate satisfaction levels and ensure regular two way feedback is undertaken with associates

 

·       Support the HR Team in ensuring attendance and attrition is effectively managed and reviewed, with remedial actions taken where necessary

 

·       Contribute fully to the business planning process and ensure Human Resources Strategy is aligned to business goals

 

·       Take the lead on complex casework

 

·       Design and delivery of HR Master Classes

 

·       Support and deliver HR related projects

 

·       Support Max initiatives at a local and regional level

 

·       Take personal responsibility to understand and comply with all company and client security requirements and policies.

SKILLS

  • Excellent knowledge of current employment legislation
  • Commercially astute
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, facilitation and influencing skills
  • Ability to work with employees at all levels
  • Ability to support change initiatives, with good understanding of the principals of change management
  • Strong skills in problem solving, conflict resolution, motivation and negotiation
  • Assertive with a can do attitude
  • Attention to detail and ability to work within a fast paced, highly energetic environment
  • college degree or directly related work experience
  • Qualified at or studying towards CIPD Level 5
  • Experience in supporting a variety of change processes
  • Able to make positive contributions towards business improvement and teamwork.
  • Highly computer literate

 

SUPERVISION

The post holder may be expected to supervise, support and develop other members of the HR Team
