GENERAL PURPOSE:

This position is responsible for leading the Global HCM Integrations team in planning, requirements and information gathering, analysis, communication, design, development, configuration, testing, implementation, go-live, support, change control and over-all management of project based and day-to-day activities relating to integrations to and from the Ceridian Dayforce HCM software solution with other software programs, applications, and 3rd-party solutions to address the needs of the business.  The HCM integration requirements will cover on-premises and cloud-based solutions and this individual is responsible for delivering and maintaining HCM Dayforce integrations architecture blueprints for the organization.  The HCM Integration Leader should demonstrate strong change and project management skills as he/she partners with experts and leaders in various disciplines (i.e., IT, Security, Systems, Compliance, etc.) to ensure successful implementation initiatives that solve real business problems.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Adheres to SYKES policies on ethics and integrity.
  • Serves as the Global Integrations lead for the SYKES HCM project, and works with regional system integration managers and provide expert advice on use of integration technology, data architecture and modeling to ensure adherence to system integration standards and best practices.
  • Works with the IT technical teams to define the integration strategies, standards & methods to ensure alignment with the company’s enterprise technical architecture, data security and compliance requirements.
  • Works with internal partners to gain solid understanding of the business processes, workflows, data, and integration requirements as it relates to the HCM and build the integration solution that meets the business needs.
  • Works with third party partners to ensure that integrations are clearly defined, delivered to required timeline, thoroughly tested for quality outcomes, efficiently implemented using integration best practices, supported, and maintained.
  • Monitor’s progress and communicates integration project status, issues/risks and resolution at various levels of management.
  • Researches, builds, and publishes integration architecture POCs on emerging new integration technologies, and platform for continuous learning and delivery of integration solutions that aptly meets business needs.
  • Plans and develop use-case integration test plans, performs unit and technical integration testing, maintains, and optimizes integration methods and sources.
  • Designs, builds, tests, and implements new integration technologies as needed and manages the technology stack to incorporate commercial or open-source integration platforms.
  • Analyzes system releases against current integrations and make necessary integration changes ensuring end-to-end data driven integration strategy.
  • Documents Technical Integration Specification/Requirements ensuring accuracy and timeliness of documentation.
  • Manages and leads incident response, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis and problem resolution of all HCM system integration issues.

 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s degree in IT, IS, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent work experience in HR Systems or systems and data integrations.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience

  • 5+ years of relevant experience and/or technology /integration / programming / coding experience
  • 4+ years’ experience supporting system integrations, make changes as needed and regression testing integrations.
  • 2+ years of experience leading work streams or small teams
  • 2+ years of experience on business ecosystems, Cloud based ERP or any of the cloud-based services: Azure, AWS, SaaS, IaaS, PaaS
  • Experience across various MS SQL Server technologies (i.e., SQL Server Integration Service)

or similar databases, ELT/ETL transformation procedures

  • Knowledgeable on integration architecture, systems architecture, data architecture standards, framework, and practices and have implemented mid to complex integration solutions that involves data transformations.
  • Knowledgeable on common system integration methods, protocols and technologies such as, but not limited to, Web services, SOAP, JSON, XML Schema Definition (XSD), Extensible Markup Language (XML), Business process automation and orchestration tools and software.
  • Relevant experience working with APIs with enterprise applications or software such as CRM, ERP.
  • Experience in project management and agile practices
  • Proven experience in managing relationships with vendors/consultants, IT teams and internal stakeholders.
