PURPOSE OF THE JOB

Knowledge of the account systems, processes and procedures is required for this role.

What you need to do in return?

 

Well… you need to effectively use your excellent customer service skills for our high profile cardholders; assist them with their card inquiries over the phone; advise them on procedure and give the best resolution. We work on a fast paced environment and flexibility matters.

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

The Virtual Card Specialist role serves cardholders & virtual cardholders:

 

  • Dealing with inbound and outbound queries via phone from Commercial Card Holders, Virtual Card Holders and Programme Administrators
  • Quickly understanding their needs and the actions necessary to carry out requests successfully
  • To develop and maintain a full knowledge of Virtual Cards Processes & Procedures
  • Continually increase own knowledge and understanding of all commercial cards system, processes and procedures including Virtual Cards
  • Issue Escalation - Taking ownership of VCA issues and coordinating their resolution
  • Manage time and workload in order to meet requirements of the role.
  • Promote a positive image of the client’s organisation.
  • Create and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues.

 

 

EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED

 

Experience:

 

  • Previous experience of Commercial Card Account
  • Knowledge of the commercial card systems, processes and procedures
  • Track record of Excellent Customer Service
  • A working knowledge of MS Office programs

 

Skills:

 

  • Excellent Communication Skills including being fluent in English
  • Highly articulate and numerate, with influential verbal skills and precise written skills
  • Strong MS Office and system skills
  • Analytical & methodical approach
  • Issue resolution skills
  • Effectively prioritise time & manage work to deadlines
  • Promote a positive image of the client’s organisation.
  • Create and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues

 

Qualifications:

 

No specific academic or professional qualifications are necessary. Candidates must be customer-oriented, self-motivated, highly energetic, analytical problem solvers, and possess good client facing skills, keen attention to detail and excellent time management skills.

 

Competencies:

 

  • Ability to multi-task is essential.
  • Must be proactive and prepared to investigate issues under own initiative with the minimum of information.
  • Good communication skills & ability to communicate at all levels.
  • Self-motivated and demonstrate high level of initiative.
  • Display a high level of attention to detail
